Same Sex Male Speeches
Whilst there’s nothing set in stone about the order of speeches at a modern wedding, it’s useful to have a framework on which to build. With this in mind, we follow tradition in the sense that the first speaker is a parent, the second one of the happy couple (here pragmatically called ‘spouse’), and the final speaker the Best Man or Woman. It’s wise to see this as an idea only, and to add a second spouse speech and/or a second parent speech as you wish.
Same Sex Female Speeches
Our site is intended as much to encourage innovation as it is to celebrate tradition. No-one suggests you dance around singing the Go-Compare song, but if you want to stray from the sometimes quite rigid structures of what is expected, why not? You don’t need to stand behind the protection of the ‘big’ table to deliver your words of wisdom and thanks. If you feel comfortable, grab a microphone and mingle among the guests as you speak. They’re your friends, after all. They WANT you to do well!
